AML IN THE NEWS

Transparency International have recently reported that there are significant concerns that there are inadequate safe guards to prevent the inflow of corrupt funds being laundered in to the UK.

Transparency International has also raised concerns about the number of regulators involved in monitoring AML by their respective industry sectors.

It has recommended that there should be only one regulator.

The London property market has been viewed as a significant beneficiary of laundered funds.
